RESET CIRCLE GROUP CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT & ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF LIMITATIONS

This Group Confidentiality Agreement is a binding contract between you ("You" or "Member") and Reset & Restart, LLC ("Reset Circle"). By checking the acceptance box at checkout or participating in Reset Circle, you agree to this Agreement.
1. COMMITMENT TO CONFIDENTIALITY
I understand that Reset Circle is a supportive community where members share personal experiences, challenges, and sensitive information.
I agree to:
✓ Treat all information shared by other members as confidential
✓ Not share, repeat, or discuss outside the community anything other members post
✓ Not screenshot, record, or copy other members' posts for external use
✓ Not identify other members by name or details outside the community
✓ Respect the privacy and vulnerability of other members
2. LIMITATION OF CONFIDENTIALITY — IMPORTANT
I understand and acknowledge that:
⚠️ Reset Circle CANNOT and DOES NOT guarantee confidentiality in group settings
⚠️ While all members agree to maintain confidentiality, Reset & Restart, LLC cannot control what individual members do with information they see or hear
⚠️ There is a risk that other members may breach confidentiality, intentionally or unintentionally, despite our policies
⚠️ Information shared in the group setting is NOT protected by the same confidentiality as private therapy sessions
⚠️ Reset & Restart, LLC is not liable for any breach of confidentiality by other community members
3. GUIDANCE FOR SAFE SHARING
o protect my own privacy, I will:
✔ Be thoughtful about what personal details I share
✔ Avoid sharing information that could identify me or my children if leaked
✔ Not share information I would be devastated to see made public
✔ Use discretion about identifying details (locations, workplaces, full names)
✔ Keep highly sensitive information for private 1:1 consultations if needed
4. WHEN CONFIDENTIALITY DOES NOT APPLY
understand that confidentiality cannot be maintained if:
✔ There is a reasonable suspicion of child abuse or neglect
✔ There is a threat of harm to self or others
✔ A court order requires disclosure
✔ Information is already public
✔ I give explicit written permission to share
5. VIDEO RECORDING ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I understand that:
✔ All Reset Circle group sessions via Zoom are officially recorded
✔ These recordings are available to current members for approximately 1 year
✔ My image, voice, and any content I share will be visible to other members in recordings
✔ Other members can view these recordings multiple times
✔ While member recording is prohibited, Reset Circle cannot physically prevent members from capturing content
By participating in video sessions, I consent to being recorded and having my image/voice visible to other members.
6. COMMUNITY CONSEQUENCES FOR BREACH
I understand that if I breach another member's confidentiality:
✔ I may be immediately removed from Reset Circle without refund
✔ I may be held legally liable by the affected member
✔ Reset & Restart, LLC may report serious violations to authorities if applicable
7. DIFFERENCE FROM PRIVATE THERAPY
I understand that:
✔ Group community discussions are NOT the same as private therapy
✔ Private 1:1 consultations have stronger confidentiality protections
✔ Group settings inherently have limitations on privacy
✔ Reset Circle is primarily a support community, not clinical treatment
8. MY RELEASE OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS:
Reset & Restart, LLC, Dr. Renesha Nichols, and all associated staff, agents, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability arising from:
✔ Other members' breach of confidentiality
✔ Disclosure of information I shared in the community
✔ Emotional distress resulting from confidentiality breaches
✔ Any damages arising from other members' actions or statements
✔ Distribution or republication of my image, voice, or content by other members
I accept the risks of sharing in a community environment.
9. MY ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I acknowledge that:
☐ I have read and understand this Group Confidentiality Agreement
☐ I understand that confidentiality in group settings CANNOT be guaranteed
☐ I accept the risks of sharing in a community environment
☐ I will be thoughtful about what personal information I disclose
☐ I will maintain the confidentiality of other members
☐ I release Reset & Restart, LLC from liability for other members' actions
☐ I understand this is different from private therapy confidentiality
